I got mine at Northstar Motorsports. Bell Sport for $260 plus tax. Pretty happy with them and the helmet.

^ thanks guys. the last few Auto X's ive done i just keep borrowing helmets due to my superior lack of funds. Its time to bite the bullet and get one, seeing as how WMHM will require it, and i dont want to be "that guy whos always borrowing one.

Any suggestions on a type/brand of helmet. i know next to nothing about them or what i should be looking for in one. all i know is that i do not want one wieghs too much in turn making me feel like a life size bobble head.

northstarmotorsport there were probably a dozen open boxes on the ground before i found a helmet that was right for me. they are extremly knowledgeable and helpful.

decide wether you want open or closed face. then try on as many as possible to find the one thats most comfortable.

It's weird how I can oversleep for work twice this week but have no problem waking up for an autox.

I'm doing Saturday and Sunday btw.

Too poor and tired to wake up in time and go race, but I am heading out shortly to try to take some pics.
