I ended up doing both!

Saturday - Got 2nd fastest time of the day with a 1:08.xxx. Fastest time was a 1:07.xxx. For my last run I dug deep and managed a 1:06.xxx but nicked a cone!!! Really fun but confusing course. Very tight and twisty. Casey - it was nice meeting you and it was good to see Phong, Jack, Mike, and Dan again!

Sunday - Got one of the faster times of the day - top 5 maybe? Probably top 2 on street tires? I think I could have done better but the last 2 runs sucked due to a MR2 spilling oil all over the track. I was a bit complainy about it (to almost bitch-like levels) and probably should have been easier on the MR2 guy (as he had just probably really damaged his car). I got dangerously close to the winning Evo's time when he was on street tires (I was on street tires as well). He then switched to R-comps on his break. He may have won, but I'm glad I forced him to work for it . Phong, Jack, Mike - nice seeing you guys again. Joanna - it was nice meeting you (stop lurking and post more!). Garrison and whoever that was in the yellow S - thanks for stopping by to watch!

 

pat, did you trophy on sunday? you were gone by the time the last car left the course.
i was gonna grab some empty bottles of NOS energy drinks and put them by/on/around my opened gas cap. but i forgot.

Took them long enough!
I have no idea how I shaved over a second for my last run. And instead of video, I have a nice photo of the coures start One day I'll beat Jeff (on equal tires).

I think this weekend is Salt Creek's Marque Madness event. Go out there and represent the H!!! (and the A). Wish I could make it...

 

jeffs win on sunday made me think twice about getting r-comps.. that man can drvie like no other. i hope to beat him one day as well but one step at a time lol im still a second behind you pat so i got a long way to go..

and yessss!! SCSCC is having there marque madness event this sunday.. so for you all that are not going to the track day get your asses out there and show some love for HONDA
