Changes to the sticky section
Just trying to make sure this remains a resource for folks to place their ideas and constructive criticism with regards to the changes that have been made and are being made on the site.
Thanks for the ideas everyone, Urmil and I are working on a swift resolution to the issues you've all brought forward. It's a community effort, to be sure, and we both appreciate your insight.

One quick suggestion:
Perhaps you could include links to some of the more "sticky-worthy" threads right in a SINGULAR sticky thread. That way new-comers, assuming they check out the rules thread, could see threads like the Introduction thread, a track / autocross discussion and calendar thread, etc. Plus, that way these important threads won't get completely lost within the bottomless chasm where most threads go.

The UMW Event calendar (Not the track specific calendar, the one for S2ki EVENTS) has been updated. Here is the link to the original thread:

Please scroll to the second post to see the calendar, and scroll PAST the calendar to see instructions on how you can make the most use out of the calendar.

The other sub-forum that I've asked for (but may not use) is for general events.
With the track and auto-x sub-forum, individual events can be posted as threads and discussed. Plus, track related topics can be hashed out in those forums.
In the meanwhile, I'm hoping people use the links to the calendar thread in this thread until I get some turn-around from the site admins. Feel free to bump up the original calendar thread until then.
I will buzz them tonight after work to see who and when we can get those sub-forums added to the UMW. Sorry for the inconveniences.
1. Wouldn't it have made sense to leave the calendars stickied until AFTER those sub forums were created already?
2. The event calendar thread (not the track calendar, but the regular event calendar thread) is locked.
3. I am concerned that things don't really seem to be thought through, since you are asking for a forum that you may not have a use for. It seems to me like all these sub-forums are going to be confusing.

Locked for posterity.
Ruexp67, if you haven't noticed, I've ignored every one of your post since you've stepped down as a CO up until now. The last one was just the last post needed to show how you've been negative, disruptive, critical (while offering no solutions), and down right disrespectful.
You have nothing to offer but coniving attitude, antagonism, and negativity, mainly after I've posted.
Charlie and I were/are trying to create a new culture and new attitude with all the new owners coming on the board without lamenting on past dramas. I'm not really tolerant of it anymore, especially from those that no longer own the S2000.
This is an S2000 owner focused community; past owners are always welcome, until they become a distraction.
Contrary to what you may believe, changes have been thought out, and aren't necessarily final. If you can't get on board with the changes, then you need to take a time-out.
Step out the way and let the CO(s) work. There will be new CO(s) coming on board soon, if you don't like how, deal with it. Just remember, when you came on board as a CO, you weren't voted on...you were added by both WSB and me.
For this situation, the UMW is going to get new CO's the same way.
That's all I have to say about this, any threads started here or in Windy City will get locked and posters may be given a time-out.
