Default Serial number

How can you tell what month/year the car was built?

I have an 03, but it could have been an early production from end of 02? right?

Keith,

We all know you were theee FIRST to receive an S in the US of A.

It wasn't obvious when I first looked at the label. 8/03'. I thought too hard, thinking the VIN would hold the key to the build date.
