10mm spacers..
for s2000, is it safe to run 10mm spacers on rear w/o longer stud?
I was just reading spacer group buy thread, and someone said longer stud is only required when running 15mm or more.
anyone running 10mm spacer?

Omfg I hate doing lugs. If you do spacers just go with those spacers that have extended lugs integrated. I switched my lugs before and it was $$$$. Pita too cuz you have to press in the bearing which is more $$$. Had to pay someone to do it.

well.. the thing is, with 10mm spacer, you will need to cut off part of stock stud..
anyways, what's the thickest spacer that I can put on before I need longer stud?
5mm plate? 7mm plate?

Depends on the wheels you want to mount.
To safely bolt on the wheels, you want at a bare MINIMUM 6 threads.
Don't cheap out for the sake of saving money because the cost to fix it when it goes wrong will be much greater than the $$$ you saved.
I've run 3 mm spacer with the stock ap1 wheels and it was pretty close. Maybe 5 mm would be max, safely.
