Exactly..., still worried about my car. The interest is in finding out how the car feels as it is on the edge and what it feels like when you go over. How does the car flip out and how do you correct it. Basically finding out what the car can do.

My problem is I just paid 30K for my car and wouldn't want to do anything to it. I think driving in one might cure that and get me out there, at least I would be willing to go I'm sure.

Rick was saying that there is another club that allows passengers and I'm for sure gonna have to go to one of those.

I'm on Metchosin Road and can meet up with you on Sooke Rd so let me know if your coming and we can pick a spot..., DQ on Sooke Rd???

Are you planning on leaving early? I'll have to judge the weather and let you know on Saturday night or early Sunday. That alright?

Does the club running there not allow passengers?

Victoria Motorsports Club (the host for this event) does allow passengers, provided that they have signed the waiver, are wearing a helmet, and are wearing a seatbelt!

Dave (or anyone else), I will be more than happy to give you rides on Sunday.

lol. Unfortunatly I only have my helmet, but if you're nice you may be able to borrow one from someone at the event. Keep in mind if you do find one to bring that it needs to meet Snell M2000 or SA2000 specs at a minimum.

Unless the rules have changed, passengers are only allowed on "fun runs" after the event. It's typically not hard to find a helment.

Mike,

They actually changed the rules for 2007 (I believe, it may have been 2006), allowing passengers during all VMSC club events. It is only the regional series that does not allow passengers during official timed runs.

Where would you suggest a person go to pick up one of these helmets?

Apparently you can get an HJC open faced helmet from Action Motorcycle for $90 including taxes, but I'd try an event before you spend the $$ on a helmet in case you decide to never use it.
