MARCH 27th, 2011

As mentioned earlier in this thread, we did another detail this past weekend. This was one of our own member's (Matt15) 2000 Honda S2000.

This was a complete inside and out detail. I did not get any photographs of the interior/engine bay but those were both detailed as well.

Arrival:

Looked like someone drew on the paint with dirt:

Headlights needed some serious attention:

Power Wash/Hand Wash:

Serious lack of water beading/protection:

Claybar action:

Letting the raggtopp cleaner set in:

The paint shines nicely but a ton of visible swirls/defects:

Ready for some serious polishing action:

One of Vince's artsy shots (thanks for the shots Vince):

50/50 of the hood:

Some before/afters:

The back of this panel was not polished yet:

Work in progress shots:

50/50 of the trunk:

Time to work on the headlights:

Much better. The rest of the discoloration was from moisture on the inside:

More work in progress shots:

Inspecting our progress:

Applying some 106FF:

Getting there:

Finished shots!

Water beading right off the paint:

Again, any fellow members looking for proper paint correction/detailing, be sure to get in touch with me. I currently only do this for friends/family and referrals - not commercially!
