1) Foam gun with dawn original dish soap (to break down all the product on the car if there is any)
2) Let it soak for a while, and then hand wash, and then pressure wash all the soap off.
3) Clay bar the whole car
4) Wash it again and dry it
5) Menzerna SIP with Orange pad, and sometimes Yellow pad depending on the paint. Some of your panels required 3 passes
6) Menzerna 106FA with Black pad over the entire vehicle to remove any hazing if any, from the SIP
7) Power wash the entire car again to get rid of any excess product or residue
8) Dry the vehicle thoroughly as you can't mix water with opti-seal or wax
9) Optimum Opti-Seal over entire vehicle
10) P21S Concours Carnuba Wax as last step

None of these steps included working on the interior or engine bay. Also, it would be nearly impossible to use a Porter Cable with paint in your shape, you NEED a rotary polisher.

This was rxskill's "winter beater", his '09 STI Hatch. Naturally, the paint was already in pretty good shape since it's so new, but there were very minor swirls visible to the eye but hard for the camera to catch. I focused on "after" shots, and some defects that we removed.

Light silver paint is notoriously difficult to get a nice shine/reflection to it, we were quite satisfied with the results.

Arrival:

Caked on brake dust, required 3 good cleans/scrubbing:

Lack of protection/water beading:

Foam gun/washing:

Much better:
