S02's got stiff sidewall - little give before they let go. And then when its cold, maybe 6C or less the rubber loses a lot of grip. A hi perf all season tire has softer sidewalls and different compound- better for a rainy winter day here.

Also check your rear alignment for the amount of toe-in.

put a concrete slab in your trunk itll weigh down the rear of car for extra traction and performance.
