Default Forced Induction

I've been talking to a couple of my friends lately and they've put into the idea of turboing my S2000 into my head.

I've done some minor reading on the topic so far on this site and wanted to know what's your guys opinion on the subject. It seems like everyone has a different story to say about turbo. I'm curious to know any major downside to it other than the possibility of blowing your motor and money sink?

I really don't know too much about it. From what I have read I think I would lean towards SC though. No real reason just a general feeling I have from reading on the site SC requires less modifications.

To me the more power you suck out of your engine the shorter the life will be and there just isn't too many ways around that. Unless you make serious modifications. That is the feeling I get from the reading I have done.

Best power to dollar ratio on a S2k. You will extract more torque on a turbo than you will from a supercharger. A turbo really wakes up the f20 and makes the car more fun with all the additional power, but remember if you race it will introduce issues from the additional heat--probably go through a set of rear tires quicker too

Also trying to find a "reputable" tuner who has experiance mapping a FI S2000 locally is a bit of a challenge
