Picked up a new project car
Just picked this up as a project since we needed a second car...
turns out that there aint alot of aftermarket parts for it other than brabus, amg, lorinser
oh , and here's a FUNNY STORY.
I was about to do a regular tranny fluid change for the car.
turns out when i jacked up the car, it's all covered.
so i removed the cover and searched everywhere but could not find where to drain the fluid. so i searched online and noticed that for most of the mercedes, they need an "extractor" to suck out the tranny fluid....
hum....ok , so i need an "extractor"
then i figured if would be a good idea to see how much tranny fluid it has left from the previous owner.
SO.....i searched everywhere for the tranny dipstick ....and turns out mercedes cars doesn't come with a "DIPSTICK" and offer it as a tool used at their fancy service center
so i drove my S to their service center in richmond and was told if they check my tranny fluid for me ...it's going to cost me $129.75
as i got home, i found one of these ebay mercedes dipstick knock off for only $30
anyways.....here are some pic to share.
oh , and this is the pic that inspired me to pick up a c coupe

The tranny pan should have a flat bolt with a hex in it. You do need the dipstick when you refill it tho. I used to be a MB tech, lemme kno if you have any questions. I still have some MB specific tools left too.
Your inspiration looks sick. You got a long way to go and alot of $$$ to go.
