wtb immobilizer
need a key cylinder, immobilizer, and matching key.
Don't know if year matters or not. I have an 05.
Not looking to spend an arm and a leg for it.
50$ shipped. Tryin to put my s2k back together and the price of sliced soft top, missing seats and broken key cylinder/immobilizer insurance almost totalled my car.
Seing if anyone can help me out.
Thanks

good luck finding it for 50 shipped. The dealer charges almost 100 jus to match the key to the ecu.
btw, you'll need the ecu to all that stuff aswell otherwise you'll have to spend that 100 at the dealer to have them program it all up.

I know it all has to be programmed, I still have my ecu. And a very good friend at honda with the honda scan tool to reprogram it to the key, and the immobilizer to the ecu.
And the immobilizer unit is 70$ new from honda. So I think 50$ is fair if someone is parting out an s2k. Honestly how many people need a key cylinder and an immobilizer unit.

is there a difference between years. I have an 05. Will one from an 03 work as long as there are matching keys with the immobilizer unit and i have the ecu reprogramed with the honda tablet scan tool.
