Default 16x7 all round

hey people I just placed an order for TE37s and the supplier told me that to fit the s2ki size they had to be 16x7 all round. is this good/bad? I just want to run OEM width on them so 205/225 will it be ok?

I am pretty sure my Rotas are 16x7 and I run a 225 all the way around.

You can get those TEs in 17-19 as well I believe. A lot of people will recommend the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs for track/aggressive street use.

I won't be using them on the track just for aggressive street use
i really wanted to keep it 16" as to reduce rotating mass/ unsprung weight

If you want the best take a look at the Bridgestone RE-11 and the Dunlop Direxxa Star Spec. They are going to be the best handling tires on the S2K in the 16".
If I can help with the tires let me know.

I don't like going smaller than OEM in the rear, I'd run minimum 7.5" all around if you must run square.

will I be able to run 225 on 7"? if I can then I don't mind, it's also less weight. as long as it doesn't create any problems or instability

225/50 is no problem on a 7" wide wheel.

No sweat running stock AP1 sizes (205/55-16 front, 225/50-16 rear) on 16x7 all around.

That said, if I were buying new 16" wheels, I'd probably be insisting on widths at least as wide as OEM rears (7.5") like mister x suggests.

Tire Rack has some cool-looking 5-spokes in 7.5" that are reasonably light (17 lb.), good offset (+50), and the price is RIGHT at $86:
