OP, buy OEM 17" wheels. Fitment will be better, and tires are cheaper with plenty of options.

I have also seen OEM front wheels rub and do fender damage but the car is usually lowered (sometimes slammed). Even at stock height there can be risk which is why I said it might work. You'd need to be careful of driveways or anytime the wheel is turned and the suspension can compress which includes hard cornering like on a track or Autox. Some can get away with no issues others it just takes that right combo of variables and you have a messed up fender.
