What size tire I can put it in for 8.5 wide size ?

I would do 245-35, since it is the correct size for 8.5", shouldn't rub, and is stock diameter. However, not as many tires are available.

235-40 and 255-35 (possible rubbing) are your practical limits.

how about on front.. it's also 8.5

can i use 215 maybe?

 

I think that would look quite silly. I have a 245/35 on my rear 8.5 wheel, although most ppl use 255/35 on an 8.5

Are you lowered? If so, do you rub at all in the rear?

 

225 /35 front +50
245 /40 rear +50

will rub for stock height?

 

I'm running 245/35/18 on rears and 225/40/18 on fronts.(toyo T-1s)
18x8.0 on rears(+48 offset) 18x7.5 on fronts(+50 off set)
lowered 15mm(1/2"). no rubbing issues.
