265 on 9" rim

Is it possible to fit a 265s on a 9" rim?

Would there be any benifit over the 255s?

What 17" 265 would match up to a 225/45?

The 265 willo fit fine on the wheel. It may not fit fine on the car though. You would want a rather high offset to make it work.

thanx Jim. I have the CE28s and the offset is a +63 in the rear, just wanted to know if I could squeeze the 265 on there.

one more thing Jim, will I see a real benefit over the 255s... or will it just look aesthetically bigger.

One good thing about the 265/30 X18 is that it is the closest to stock diamater I have seen on the databases.

They also recommend 9" as the smallest rim.

Go to Tire Rack and get tire specs to compare diameters and see rims recommended

I don't think it will have an advantage over the 255/40R17 on your car. You end up with about .5" taller tire than the front.

I am running 265/40/17 Michelin Pilot Sports (Rear ) on my Hyper Black CE28N's...I like the wider contact patch and it looks more agressive and handles great

since he's running the CE28 in 17inch, my guess is +50 front and +63 rear.
