Default 2nd tyres

Hey guys,

I just need abit of help, Im thinking of getting some 2nd hand wheels.

It looks like the wheels are about 2.5 years old.

I remeber reading or hearing off someone that tyres have a shelf life and that the rubber gets old.. Would anyone know if these would still be ok?

The tryes are also Bridgestone Adrenalin RE001's

Thanks!

Depends upon when the tyres were made and the environment in which they were stored. 2.5 years is probably OK if they were made shortly before that.

Bridgestone RE001 were only released around 2 years ago so they can't be too old. They should be fine IMO.

5 years is supposedly the safe limit of any tire.
