Default 40 profile vs 45 profile?

Hi guys

I need some new rear tires ASAP..
Currently have Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's.. 245/40/17 in the rear.. all the tire place have that size on back order, but they do have 245/45/17 ready to ship.
Would there be any negative effects from running the 45's? any positive?
My car is supercharged putting down close to 450whp, stock ride height so fitment will not be an issue. Wheels are Rota torques, 17" same size as AP2 V1's IIRC.

thanks

It will cause your speedometer to read 4% slower than it would stock by effectively making your gearing 4% longer. It will also increase rear ride height by 1/2" with the overall tire being a full 1" taller.

I would advise just getting a different tire in the correct size.

Agreed on the 255/40s Kev, I think they make that size in the v12s too.
