If it's me, I'd keep the AP2 wheels (even though the AP1 wheels are mucho sexier, better to have the "right" wheels for the car).
*But*, FWIW the tire selection in stock sizes is better for AP1 vs. AP2.

That said, whether or not the "stock" size is the "right" size for either of 'em is up for debate.

OK, now I *am* being a troublemaker

Long/short, keep the AP2 wheels. Excellent tire selection, in wider sizes.

At the *very* least, trade for his wheels PLUS CASH!

I do agree with the above: that while I like the AP1 look, I $*#%& hate the tire selection. In a no-compromises car, I don't like having to make tire compromises.
