Default BBS LM 17x8,9

I bought BBS LM wheels and the center rings don't fit over the hub. I don't want to go with spacers. Was wondering if Tirerack or anyone else sell the center ring and center ring retaining clip for the S2000. I don't know the exact sizes for the F&R hub. I could remove the installed ring, but it would not be hub centric. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.

remove the currently installed rings. Our cars have studs so wheels are not hub centric. Hubcentric rings are important when hub is required to keep the wheel on center, since the wheels on our cars are centered on the studs, rings are not needed. hope that helps

Your car is still hub centric as are all cars. The lugs just hold the wheels on. I have the rings available.

So what is the purpose of the center ring? I thought that it is important to have and it needs to fit. Forgot to mention that the ring can rotate around the hub. Jim, how much are 4 rings and 4 retaining clips? Are the front and rear rings the same size for S2K? Thanks.

Jim, just curious how can a car be hub centric when its wheels are centered based off the studs and not the hub? i was always under the impression it was on or the other. either the wheel centered itself off the hub (like a BMW) or the studs( like the s2k). I know there is a large number of people in the euro racing community that swich to studs for the specific reason of eliminating wheels due the hub bore being to big ( rings crack when you track a car). Not trying to argue just genuinely curious.

I used two small flat-head screwdrivers to pry the retaining clip that hold center ring to the wheel. Took a few tries, but it came out. All I need now is the new center ring. Jim, I need 4 center rings, please let me know they cost. Thanks.
