If this is in fact true I'm very effin impressed. I just bought mine and I'm sort of hoping to get decent mileage out of them despite the treadwear rating. I assume though that if you are staying on top of tire pressures and not driving like an ass this CAN be doable. However for me I doubt it considering I'm staggered and can't rotate..

I can take pictures for you to prove it. My front tires have lots of tread left! One of my rears is bald in the middle because of too much tire pressure, but my one other rear tire has decent amount of tread left. I don't know how my air pressure got so messed up on the one side though...haha.

I'm serious. Got the star specs on at about 80k, got new wheels at around 105k, sold my ap1 wheels. The rears were done, the fronts had a little left to go. It's a lot of highway though as I have a 80 mile round trip commute to work. Here's a pic my rears before I sold the wheels.

it has to be due to the fact that they are 16s...i have not made it past ~12k miles in my last 2 sets of the 17in version and this current set is on pace to do the same

My front dunlop starspecs wont even pass the 8k mark . Patrick, the tail of the dragon trips do give the tires hell too

And by the way, Reapur is talking in kilometers, not miles. So really, he means about 16k miles.

Were the tires wearing evenly? Be honest here. Most other tires you can buy for this car are going to wear FASTER than these tires you just claim wore out after 13k miles.

Given that most of us get much longer tire wear than you described, I suspect something else is amiss here.

i havent had my alignment checked lately, i am AP2. stock tires i got roughly 30k-35k on each because i went with stock tires twice. Those I drove aggressively many times.
