Default doing a 245/40-18 instead of 245/35-18

I'm about to purchase a set of wheels. The recomendation for the rear is 245/35-18. But since I had just bought a new set of kumho mx, in a 245-40-18. Will this be ok? Will I have any problems. I'm pretty sure I will have to raise the rear like 1/3" inch to make up gor the difference. The side wall in the 245/35 is 3.4" and in the 245/40 it's 3.9". All help would be appriciated. If the front I'm running ythe recommended size of 225/40-18.
thanks, leo

It will throw off the anti lock brakes because the tire is taller. My guess is the would probably hit as well. They are .8" taller than the OE tires.

Jim, one more thing and I'll stop bothering you. I'm planning on purchasing a set of SSR comps. I want to go with the set up of 225/40-18 front and 255/35 -18 rear. My car is lowered with bilstein coilovers, will this cause a problem or should I do a 245/35-18 in the rear?
thaks, leo
