Enkei RPF1, tire fitment?
#22
Actually, looking at 1Nate7 and S2000Junky's pics, the convex/concave RPF1s do look pretty cool on the S2000. I preferred the PF01's more stylized 5x2 spoke design to the more utilitarian look of the 6x2 spoke RPF1 for the FD.

If you know what you are doing its not that hard but it is very easy to crack paint or get uneven waves in the fender if you don't do it right. Plus you'd have to buy a fender roller and heat gun which costs more than $150 so unless you plan on learning how to do it and then doing other people's cars its not worth buy the tools.

I did roll my rear fenders today, and boy that was easy, no paint cracks and it looks very good.
Saved me some money to buy my self a roller.
One question tho, do i need to roll them flat with RPF1? I did roll my fender quite a bit but not flat.

You are right, there isn't much to roll in the front but you need to address the fender liner tabs. Those will catch the tire when the suspension is compressed, happens all the time. Trim out just enough of the liner to expose the tabs and roll/bend them back a little.

Even that tiny lip can catch. Because the front wheels turn the fenders are in much more danger due to that. No matter how much camber you add in the front there is no getting around the danger when the wheel is turned.

I have the same setup at the OP, RPF1s 17x8 front and 17x9 rears with 225/255. No issues in the front since I have wider downforce fenders, but I've been rubbing in the rear on some bumps. Currently at OEM ride height on KW V3s to minimize rubbing. I'd like to close the wheel gap once the rubbing is solved.
I'm aiming to avoid rubbing all together with minimal to no fender modifications. Does anyone know if switching to 215/245 tire sizes will solve my problem?
Thanks
Tim
