hubcentric rings???....exactly?

Well, I measured my center bores tonight.
The front and rear are indeed different sizes.
Front = 70mm
Rear = 64mm

My BBS's actually came with 2 70mm and 2 64mm hubcentric rings! But I didn't realize that and installed them wrong!
I had the 64mm in the front and 70mm in the rear!

I do hope that people with aftermarket wheels do come with correct sizes of hubcentric rings!

When I talked to Prestige (they make center rings) they said the main function of the center rings is to center wheel while tightening the lug nuts. Other than that it really has no function. This is what I was told. Not sure of the validity.
