Hey Jim,

since you are the expert i ask of your advice.

I need to get (2) 215/45/17 and (2) 225/45/17 tires. Im looking to get some sticky tires. The car will be daily driven (no track). Live in NY. Not driven in the winters.


Not looking to spend a fortune but want STICKY quality tires.

any suggestions?

Why those tire sizes? Are these for the stock rims?

 

No these will be for a spare set of wheels i have sitting around but will be running them on the S for some time this summer.

non staggered 17x7

 

In those sizes I would look at the Bridgestone RE-11, Dunlop Star Spec or the Kumho XS. These are the stickiest tires short of going to a race tire.
