Jim need new wheels/tires for the beater.
I have a 93 Accord Coupe and a few years ago I hit a huge pothole on the driver's side. I've had the wheels balanced but it always shakes after about 50mph. The shop said they are bent. Would the bent rims cause the car to shake even after balancing?
Okay now to the real question. I don't want to spend a ton of money seeing this is a beater but is there anything you can recommend in the way of wheels and rubber for this. I like the ASA JS1 or the Sport Edition Fox 2 and the Potenza RE92. Decent combo?

The bent wheels can cause and likely is the cause of the vibration. The ASA JS1 is the best price I would have for an alloy wheel. I like the Dunlop Sport A2 much better than the RE92 for the car. The Sport A2 will give longer tread life and better wet traction. for less money.
Give me a call if I can help.
Thank you
