Default Jim...Potenza Re 050, 050 Pole posit. or 01R?

Jim,

I have been looking like a crazy man to my wife lately for just researching tires on the internet. I have debating between the Potenza Re 050 or 050 pole position in 225/45/17F/255/40/17R or 225/45/17F/245/40/17R for Re-01R. I visit the track once a month, I do not want to go to R compounds till next season, I don't mind for tire's to last 8-10k. I'm running pretty aggressive alignment for street. The comparision was "N/A" as far as the difference for the 050 vs 050 poleposition (I did notice traction was A vs. AA).

What kind of difference can I expect between the two if I'm going to shell out $25 more?

Will the Re-01R be better for me? Even though I will have a closer stagger between the front and rear?

Thanks.

Gabe

Too early to tell, about the RE-01R,no test reports yet;but they won't be available in 255/40/17.
I would say,get the Advan Neo AD-07.
