If you are looking for the best I would go with the Bridgestone RE-01R. In the testing that we did here they were an exceptional handling tire.
If I can help let me know.

I have a 2004 s2000 with oem bridgestone potenza re050's 245/40r17 91w on the rear. I tried to order the oem re050's, 215/45/r17 87w for the front, but tire rack is out of stock. can you recommend a tire for the front that will work? I don't want to wait a month or more for the re050's if I can help it.

not knowing a whole lot about mixing and matching tire brands and models, I am a little concerned.

thanks, teebee

Dry grip: RE-01R
Wet/Dry grip: RE050A Pole Position (not the "plain" RE050 or RE050A!)

For the stock AP1 rim, I thought we were to stick with 245/45/16 for any non-OEM tires. The Potenza RE-01R and RE050 aren't available in that size, so are they acceptable to use at 225/50/16? Can someone clarify this?
