Default plz help..

so i purchased my02 last feb/06 and the owner had replaced the rear tires with toyo proxes 205/50/16. Today i noticed as my02 was parked at an angled that the front tires were bigger, so i checked the size and they were 205/55/16 is this bad?

My car looks goofy cause the rear tire look smaller and cover less of the wheel gap then the fronts do..

Could it be possible that Bigo tires switched the front wheels with the rear?

is there a way on the wheels to check if they are for front or rear??

Also should i get 205/55/16 for the rear as well?
any help is greatly appreciated..

thx

yes its bad because now your car is more prone to oversteer and it handles alot worst now that you have a smaller tires in the rear. You should replace the rear tire with a 245/50-16 for the rear to make it handle better. Big-o could have been mistaken but it looks like that the original owner didnt know any better. make sure that you dont have the front rims all the way around which is a 16x7. the rear if I remember correctly is a 16x8...

That is not a good set up. You should either have 225/50R16 or 245/45R16 on the rear. As you have it now the speedometer, odometer and gear ratio and anti lock brakes are all off.
If I can help with the tires let me know.

OEM fronts are 6.5" and rear are 7.5". If you have the rear rims on the front hubs, you may have one helluva time getting them off as the centerbore hole of the rear rim is smaller than for the front.

Yes, unless they are mounted on rear rims.

The stock tire sizes of AP1 are 205/55R16 front and 225/50R16 rear. Both sizes have overall diameter of about 25". To keep that diameter at 25", you can have these sizes for front: 205/55R16 or 225/50R16; rear: 225/50R16 or 245/45R16. Just to make sure that rears are alway wider than fronts.
