Default Porsche OE S02's on front....

Ok heres the deal I got found a great deal on a front pair of S02's(205's) on ebay for $100 with GREAT wear still left on them, too great of a deal to pass up. Now by looking at the numbers on the side of the tire yesterday when I recieved them it looks like they are the Porsche OE ones, they were the ZR rating instead of the WR rating that shows up on the S2000 OE ones on tirerack.com. Now I know these are not as good as the S2000 ones for the front, but they're still better than most, so my question is.....I am going to have these in the front should I stick with getting the Porsche OE's for the back or should I get the S2000 set. I've seen somewhere where you're really not suppose to have mix and match speed ratings like WR with ZR. I autocross my car regularly so if anyone has any info please help me out with my choice.

Thanks,

Raymond

I don't think it is a safety issue (unless you do sustained speeds at the speed limit of the tires). The Porsche OEM front is a tiny bit wider than the Honda OEM front. You might in theory get a little more oversteer since the fronts might be a bit stickier? What is the wear rating? I Think it is more of an issue for the rear tires because the Porsche rears are .5 inch narrower than the OEM Honda, not desirable. The fronts are not that big of a deal IMHO (assuming the same wear rating).

Edit: Stick with the Honda OEM S02s for the rear.
