Ok so the CR uses the NSX-R and STI tires. Alrighty then. But are these going to be available here anytime or do we have to buy them from Honda when the CR comes out?

I would love a pair of 255/40/17 right now.

I don't show any information yet on the tire.

According to Best Motoring, they tested the RE070 vs. the RE01R on 2 different occassions with the new Civic Type R: one was on Tskuba and the other was a mountain road course (similar to a Touge). According to them, the RE070 posted a better time, 1-2 tenths, on both occassions

I would assume that once the S2000 CR go on sale, the stock tire size will be release to the US as well.
