And an 8.5" rim is hardly any different than a 9" rim. It just gives me that extra 1/4" of clearance I'm looking for with these. I think I'm going to run a 255/235 combo anyway and might get away with a subtle fender pull with that. I'm going to mount up a set of 225s I've got for cheap and check clearance. If I have to do extensive fender work to fit anything bigger than a 225, I'll probabaly just go all the way with a 245 on the front.
