Waiting for UPS to call so I can setup a date/time for them to come look at the wheel. I have a feeling that they arent going to take the blame for it, but I'll let you all know what happens.

So UPS basically said that if the box isnt damaged they wont cover it. They still are going to set up a time/date to come look at it.

i dont think it's UPS's fault. if the rims were inside the box, and the boxes werent damaged severely, logic would say that the previous owner shipped out the rims in that condition.

like i said nothing ups could do, would do that.

unless they fell from the boeing onto like a mountain, and then tumbled their way down slowly.

its the sellers fault, i wouldnt even have ups come. because its fraud to make them pay for it since it wasnt their fault

its previous guy 110%,

If you honestly feel jipped (which you are but I cant take actions for you) than post this in s2000 talk. You have obviously tried to work things out with the seller... looks like he wants to be an ass and not admit fault.

oh c'mom it is very obvious that the previous seller damaged the rim himself. There is no way UPS could crack the rim like that.

The seller is being an asshole, SO WHO IS HE?

^I think you were being a little bit too nice to him. It's pretty obvious he pulled a scam on you, the crack was not from UPS I can tell you that. I ran a small import business for 2 years and I am very confident it was NOT damaged during shipping. It takes ALOT of force to crack a rim like that.

I am sorry to see this bro, but it seems the seller is now being an ass and denying everything.

I think you are being too nice.. take action. Get some help on this board as there are many members who are willing to lend a hand. Talk to the mods about it etc. Dont let him run you over like that.
