I drove my z1 in the rain and I had no problems. RT-615 was a whole different story.

Hmmm. I will definitely consider the Star Specs. Anyone know have any feedback on the Goodyear F1 All Season Tires? I have heard a lot of good things on tire websites about them. Do you guys think they are good enough to serve as street tires while being able to be used on the track?

I was on Discount Tire Direct and they say the Z1 isn't too great in rain conditions. I live in Georgia and we can get some heavy rain at times. I need an all season tire that still has good performance on the track while haveing a good treadwear.
You do not need or want all-season tires.
All-season = snow capable, and should not necessarily imply greater wet traction.
There is no such thing as "an all season tire that still has good performance on the track while haveing a good treadwear".

You want good Max Perf (as opposed to Extreme Perf) Summer tires.

Clickie on Tire Rack banner above and go to town...

FWIW, I'm running Hankook RS2's for my Summer street tires. No complaints.

Only way to be competitive in AS is with Hoosiers or v710s. If you want o run a tire that you can drive to the event run a Victoracer, NT01, 888 or a RA-1. You can run an RA-1 on the street all summer long. None of these tires will allow you to trophy (unless AS is a really weak class in your region) but you will be a lot quicker then with a street tire. If you want to run a street tire, I like the RE01R.

The only other street tire I would recommend is the Bridgestone RE-01R. They were 100% last year at the Nationals. Both this tire and the Star Spec can and are used for autocrossing.
If I can help let me know.
