Default tire noob... please help

I have the js racing gt kit, and ordered 18x10.5 and 18x9.5 volk ce28. I want a race tire but am having problems finding a tire with the sizes they recommend. They recommend 265/35 and 285/35. The tires that I am interested in do not come in those sizes.
Does anybody recommend another tire size that I am able to use to get a nice fitment? I have plenty of clearance with the gt kit.
Tires I'm interested in are advan AO48, Hankook Ventus TD, nitto nto1 or Toyo r888. These brands have sizes that fit but different like rear would be 30 and fronts 35. Will this be a big difference?

285/30 would be the proper size for the rear if you want to maintain stock diameter. You could match that with a 245/35 or 255/35 front.

Edit: Just to be clear, sidewall measurement is a percentage - not a fixed number. If you want to keep the same diameter front to rear with staggered widths, then the number is going to be different. Stock is 215/45, 245/40 etc.

Does anybody think if I went 285/30 and 265/35 it would be a big difference? From my calculations I'm guessing it's about a half an inch difference.

I believe you could run the Toyo R888 in 255/35/18 up front and 285/30/18 rear. Not sure if they make the A048 in that size though, with those you'd probably have to go 265/35/18 up front. This is strictly based on searching though, I'm not familiar with racing tires. You could also run Michelin Pilot Sports Cup if going with that size too I believe, which could be another tire to consider though pricey.

You might consider a 295/30 for the rear also, it will be a slightly larger diameter. The R888 looks to have the best selection of sizes and is also very reasonable in price compared to some of the other options. I'd go with 255/35 and 295/30.
