Wheel Fitment Guide
Distance to the brake caliper changes with what face the rpf1 have. The convex face has tons of space for bigger brake. The concave face which is likely what you are looking at doesn't have any space hell it barely clears the stock brakes. There is tons of info on these wheels and huge thread in the gallery to help you.
I know nothing about wheel offset and sizes. it seems all very tricky to me. Today i was noticing how close the brake calipers are to the stock ap1 wheel. I had a thought that struck me, in the future id like to get some enkei RPF1's on my car with a wider tire size, BUT would a low offset like +38 in the front, would that have enough clearance on the brake calipers? and would the wheels and tires stick far outside my fenders because of the added width? maybe some 9's in the back and 8"s in the front. or 8.5's in the front and 9.5's in the back. i would be lowering the car on a coilover suspension at the same time. what would be a driveable offset for daily/spirited driving? what about track specs? any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

thanks for the help guys
i appreciate it. I did not even know there is a convex wheel and concave wheel design to be honest. But i do like the look of the concave design. Im a student currently and its not easy to save up for wheels, suspension, engine parts and all that good stuff quickly. i work on the weekends and my car payment takes 50% of my monthly income. right now i want to do thorough research on what im looking for and when the money has been saved, i will definitely look back on your input to make the decision of what wheel specs i want to put on the car. thanks guys

Fronts definitely need a roll for those. For tires I would do 245 in front and 255 in the rear and you will likely need between 2.5 and 3 degrees of camber in front and about the same in the rear (probably closer to 3 in front and 2.5 for the rear).
These rims not worth the trouble then…

Curious what make of wheel they are? Those are decent specs and not ones I see very often.
