I'm bummed reading this entire wheel forum. I picked up a set of gold Advan RG's 18x7.5 45ET last year and was hoping I would be able to use them on an AP2 I'm gonna buy in a week.

Thanks.

How about 17x7.5 +40 for the front? Just a roll? What's the standard tyre size for a 7.5" rim (215/45/17) if going with 245/40/17 on the rears?

Hello. Much help/suggestions appreciated in advance. I picked up a set of equips in 18x8.5 +35 & +41. For tires i want to run 245/35/18 rear and a 225/35/18 i am rolled and tab relocated. Any other things i should worry about? Or better tire size?

To narrow for the rear. Sell 2 and find 2 that are wider.

Roll. You will need camber as well and yes 215/45/17 is the correct tire size.

You will run the +35 on the rear with the 245. Fenders need to be rolled all around. +41 for the front with the 225 and rolled fenders.

F: 18x7.5 +48 (225/40/18)
R: 18x8.5 +50 (255/35/18)

Lowered with 2 finger gap all round.

Roll in front with camber and camber in rear? SK2I threads mention this setup might rub depending on height.

Would 215/45/18 + 245/40/18 be better?

Would i use a 35 series tire all around or a 40? I would imagine a 35 am i wrong? Would i be able to run a 40 in the rear?

You would do a 225/40/18 in front and a 245/35/18 in the rear. That keeps the correct rolling diameter.

I know nothing about wheel offset and sizes. it seems all very tricky to me. Today i was noticing how close the brake calipers are to the stock ap1 wheel. I had a thought that struck me, in the future id like to get some enkei RPF1's on my car with a wider tire size, BUT would a low offset like +38 in the front, would that have enough clearance on the brake calipers? and would the wheels and tires stick far outside my fenders because of the added width? maybe some 9's in the back and 8"s in the front. or 8.5's in the front and 9.5's in the back. i would be lowering the car on a coilover suspension at the same time. what would be a driveable offset for daily/spirited driving? what about track specs? any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
