Current fitment I am working on for the S2000 I recently acquired.

17x9.5 Rear with a 255/40/17 RE71R
17x8.5 Front with a 225/45/17 RE71R

Since RE71R supposedly run narrow, I'm not sure if I should attempt to move up in width by 10mm. The car is rolled stock fenders front and rear. Have not relocated the bumper tab yet and the car is not extremely low on PSS9. This is a street/track car, so the PSS9 may be going soon for something more track oriented.

No, stick with the sizes listed above.

What's the best way to do it? I remember seeing some pictures around here, but I can't find them now...

Look up the thread for installing the over fender I think that will give you some ideas. I used the shine bumper extensions instead since my Ings bumper is frp and isn't as flexible as oem.

My '05 is track-only, I want to move to a square setup, with SCCA STU class rules restricting me to 17" x 8"w wheels, 245 tire width. I have dropped it ~1.25" (with KW V3 coilovers) and did a "baseball bat" roll of the arches. Would a 50 offset on an 8" wide wheel and 245-40w17 tires work? I can tolerate a small bit of scraping (say the bottom of the Corkscrew) but don't want it over every apex berm I hit.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts...

Full roll and tab relo. The fronts may need a bit of a pull. You are going to be looking -2.5 or more in the front. Shouldn't need more than -2.5 in the rear.

First off all Sorry for the daft question. I have read all 48 pages of this topic and I am still confused. I purchased an S2000 6 months ago in Ireland and I am looking to either refurbish the existing wheels or upgrade. I cannot find a set of OEM 17s anywhere and I have been on to 4 different alloy wheel companies and everyone tells me something different. I have a company quoting me 17 x 8 et35 all round but reading this post the offset is too high and will not work. Can anyone please help I just want a set of alloys and tyres that will not compromise the handling or ride but will fit on a standard setup. Either that or maybe I should just get the current wheels refurbished.

Any websites help or advise is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Colm
