Think im pretty decided on going with the 18x10 with a 255/35/18. Wondering will the 255 tire sit nice and square on this setup or will it be stretched? from looking it up im seeing some stretched some not. maybe go with a 265 to be safe? i want zero or very close to zero stretch.

Provided you have the clearance, 265/35 would fit more square on a 10" wheel and provide the look you want.

Hi!

I'm really new to the world of S2000s, and what they can fit, but I have a question:

18x9.5 +38 all around, either a 245/35 or a 255/35 - The car would be very low, with max -3* of camber all around.

I understand this would be fine for the rear with a 245/35 or even a 255/35, but I am concerned about the fronts. I don't even own the car yet, I'm just collecting my thoughts and getting a game plan.

Thanks for any help!

Jaor was running 17x9.5+38 square on 255s before he got overfenders. You can see how it looks here, might be able to find his alignment specs as well: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/106.../page__st__375

Personally, his setup is a little lower and more aggressive than I would go (it still looks great though). They will "fit" with a roll and probably pulling (especially in the front). I say "fit" with quotation marks, because it depends on your definition of fit.

So, in theory, a 18x9.5 +38 on the front would work relatively easily with a smaller tire size, no?

This is way too aggressive for me.

I wouldn't say that it's going to be "relatively easy". A smaller tire would provide some more clearance. Personally I think 9+45 is a much better setup on a stock fender car.

Manga is much better at giving wheel advice than I can.. but there are tons of threads out there regarding wheels/tires of all sizes.

Well, thanks for your input. I'm new to these cars. I came from the Volkswagen world, so it's quite a bit different over there.

There is a 18 x 9.5" +45 available, that would be much better for the front. You could either run 9.5" +45 all around or pair them with the +38 rear for a more aggressive stagger look.

9.5 +38 does not fit in front easily at all. Even with a 245 which will help a little bit but the wheel is very aggressive for the front. It can fit in the rear but still requires work. Front you'd need to pull the fenders a good amount and run -3 camber or more. Its not an ideal size for the front with OEM fenders.
