I wanted the same concavity front and rear. Oh well, on to a different idea, I suppose.

I wanted Work Emotion CR Ultimate or Kai (though it doesn't seem Kai is available anymore)with deep concave faces all around. Maybe a bit too ambitious.

+45 and +38 will have the same face, lip/concave will be identical. The difference in RPF1 is all in the depth of the mounting hub.

Thank you everyone!

My plan is to do 18x8.5 +45 in the front and 18x9.5 +45 in the rear. Next step is tire sizes!

If you are planning on RPF1, be aware that the face/lip/etc of those wheels will be completely different. Any width less than 9" gets the convex face. I would consider the ideal tire size 225/40, 255/35.

Nope, not RPF1s.

I hope that staggered fitment will look okay, and not be too much difference, visually. Think I could step up to a 235/40? Or will that be pushing it?

The car was already low on semi-aggressive wheels, albeit small tires previously. I am assuming the previous owner had the arches rolled and the tab relocated.

Shouldn't assume. It is pretty easy to tell if they have been rolled. Just feel the fender. If there is a lip then they aren't rolled if it feels flat they were. Staggard fitment looks good considering that is how the car came and many sports cars have a staggard setup.

Yeah, I know. The car is a friend's car, I just haven't had a chance to ask.

Regarding the stagger - I just wasn't sure if it would be too drastic of a stagger, rather than something mild and natural.

How difficult are spacers to put on these cars?

I came from this, where things are a lot different :

Yeah forget what worked on the VW. It isn't difficult to put spacers on but again you are messing with the fitment with spacers. Again you should be able to walk out to the car and check if the fenders are rolled.

Yup, I will definitely do that. And if by some chance, they aren't done, it'll be no problem to get that sorted. But as we all know, there are limits, so I wasn't sure where that limit is. I notice some S2000s with glaring dents in the rear quarter or the front arches chewed up. I'm trying to find the sweet spot where I can be low, but not destroy the arches.

Thanks so much for your input!

Rolled flat with a tiny pull is the limit. The rear quarter panels especially cannot handle to much pulling because it causes the quarter panel to cave in.
