Is there a thread that shows general max diameters/widths/offsets for downforce fenders and ASM rears? Like how wide I can go without sacrificing performance/handling, and maintaining correct tire size to wheel width..
No thread that I've seen but it's pretty simple math. If you have +25mm overfenders, instead of needing a +60 wheel, you can go +35 with no problem and a standard sized tire.

Hello everyone. I'm considering purchasing some Forgestar F14s as I find them fairly attractive in appearance and price, the custom offsets are nice too. It is preferable if I can avoid fender rolling, though I will roll if I have to. The car will be mainly driven on twisty back roads and the occasional Auto X event. I am weighing three options:

17X9+58 all around with 245/255 stagger
17x9.5+60 255 square
17x9.5+63 255 square

Unfortunately the F14s aren't available in the "standard" 17x9+63 offest. The car will stay at stock height for now with perhaps 0.5-1 inch drop later with coil overs. Which setup will fit best? The side wall of the 245 w/+58 comes out mathematically the same as 255 w/+63 but I'm curious if anyone has experience on hand. I realize that that the latter two 17x9.5+60 and +63 will likely rub the upper control arms. But it seems like the standard 17x9+63 rub control arms anyway so is it that big of a deal?

Thanks all,
Shift

Forgestars should be available in any width and offset you want. Where are you looking at them? I would suggest contacting them or a vendor directly and telling them what you want. With any of these you'll likely need to roll at least the front fenders.

I just checked their website and the wheel model with the friendliest offsets were the F14s. In 17x9 the highest offset is +58 and in 17x9.5 the highest offset is +65. I just found that it seems some have found success with Enkei PF01s in 17x9+60. Thoughts?

Oh interesting I could have sworn they offered a higher offset on the 17x9.

The enkeis are a good choice and plenty run them. 2mm isn't going to make a massive difference though. If you are lowered the same thing applies you may need to roll the fronts.

Do you think that I would get the same results as the Enkeis with the Forgestar F14s in 17x9.5+60 even if the tire is slightly more stretched? It's the offset that matters most right?

The offset and width work together. Plug in number to Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit and it will give you a better visualization of how the width and offset effect where the wheel will sit. The 9 inch wide Enkeis will be easier to fit than the F14's in 9.5.

Looking for some help. Ive read through the forum but would love some advice / comments. I have a set of Volk GTP wheels that are 8" wide. The car is Supercharged (471HP) and I am looking to re-barrel the wheels and go 9.5 or 10 wide in the rear. My fenders are rolled and slightly pulled. I am looking for a suggestion on the offset. I can do just about what ever I want on the offset. Right now I'm thinking of an offset anywhere from +55 - +65.

I dont plan on tracking the car.

17x9.5+45 or somewhere around the 45-53 area, or 17x10+50-60 or something like that.

Yup what he said. The fronts would need to be a little higher than the rear unless you are going square then I would go a little higher to make sure the fronts fit.
