looking at these SSR Wheels - SSR GTV02

or 17x8 +45 front 17x9 +38 rear SSR Wheels - SSR GTX01
The first one may not need a roll at stock height and as long as you aren't slammed if may not need one. The second option 100% needs a roll no matter what. I would personally avoid the first option due to the narrow and AP2 oem rear wheel.

Looking at some SSR Professor SP1s that are 17x8 +37 and 17x9 +37 respectively.

I'm lowered about 1" maybe a touch more. How much arch work would be needed ?

Thanks !

I have Volk ce28 in s2k sizes - 17x7.5 +50 for the front, and 17x9.0 +63 for the rear. I am considering 225/45 and 255/40 tires (new Conti's).

Will this fit my 02 s2k with stock ride height and stock fenders without rubbing? Is it a decent set up for spirited back road street driving?
I had this exact setup and did not have any issues. I even had tires that are considered to be slightly wider than normal (Rs4's). No rubbing or issues to say the least. You'll be fine!

You have to roll the fronts as well that is what i meant by full roll. Shouldn't need to pull.

Hey guys, I don't want to start a new thread but I want to chop up the stock fenders and go wide.

Thinking downforce front fenders and ASM rear
Planning on runnig 17x9+22 with either 245 or 255 all around.

I know the rears will fit, but can downforce fronts fit 17x9+22 without rubbing?

Alternatively would 17x9+22 on a 245 fit with ASM/Voltext front fender flares, or would I absolutely need the extra room that downforce provides?

Seems like a lot of work to fit 17x9 wheels. I have run 17x10 +35 with a 255 in front with Downforce fenders and they fit. I did shave down the lip on the fenders but I didn't have issues. Your ride height will play an important factor in this.

Thanks for the info. It does seem a lot of work. I have my eyes on some 17x9+22 Volk Te37s since I like the concavity on them. I'm also partial to 3 piece work meisters, I just want the correct tire sizes to match the wide wheels. Not looking to stretch.

Is there a thread that shows general max diameters/widths/offsets for downforce fenders and ASM rears? Like how wide I can go without sacrificing performance/handling, and maintaining correct tire size to wheel width..
