I would say yes especially if the car is lowered.

Is it possible to fit a 245 (Direzza ZIII) up front while without rolling the fenders and without rubbing on anything?

Depending on ride height and wheel sure.

At stock ride height I believe so (though it may rub the inner fender at full lock). If you lower the car even with high offset wheels the fronts can still be at risk since the wheel turns and in the right situation with the suspension compressed it can rub the liner clips or catch the fender lip if the liner has been rubbed away enough.

I am the humbled owner of an S. 2001 AP1. I acquired from the original owner on July 27th, 2018 with 16,437 miles. I put AP2V1 wheels and Indy 500's on it the day I acquired. I've since logged approx. 8,400 miles in the driver's seat. My tires are 225/45 FR and 255/40 RR. I am in heaven from April until November. Back roads north and west of Omaha. I drive this car the way it was built to be driven. I'll never part with it.

With that said, I am considering changing wheels. I want advice here. I want a wider wheel. I think it is better for how I drive the car (high performance), plus I like how the wider "stance" looks. How best to do that? I know these two things:

No rubbing under any conditions. No fender modifications. I am thinking 8.5 inches FR and 9.5 in the RR if I stagger. I have not considered going square, but maybe I should? Should I go with an 18 with those widths or should I stick with the 17 at those widths? I know there is a lot of information about this topic and I am just beginning my search, so I thought I'd get some expert advice from this forum. Thanks in advance.

Your two conditions basically limit you to fitments that are similar to stock and will be difficult to improve "stance". Since you aren't doing fender work, I'd say a square setup would not be ideal because you are really going to be limited by the front. Any additional wheel width would have to be on the inside which means you would be looking at something like 8" +65 front and 9.5" +70 rear. It would probably have to be a custom setup like CCW, almost impossible to find off the shelf sizes with increased width and the high offsets you need to avoid rubbing. Extreme summer tires on stock wheels would probably be your biggest performance improvement.

Specs like this should be close to what you are looking for: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/wheels-t...0%99s-1202130/

225/285 is a lot of stagger, would recommend either 245/35 front OR 255/35 rear to balance out. You may have some flexibility to run more aggressive wheels than I initially recommended when at stock height.

There are also Volk or similar setups that would be a very minor increase in width (.5") but work perfectly with a 225/255 tire setup and drop a ton of weight, ~ 8 lbs per corner: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/wheels-t...gered-1202728/
