Without modifying your fenders you won’t really get a different look in terms of fitment.

If I were you I’d just get a stickier tire on the OEM wheels.

If you’re set on aftermarket wheels make sure to look at pictures of cars with them at stock height. Stuff that may look awesome when lowered can be underwhelming or just distasteful on an otherwise all stock car.

Yeah your best bet are the S2000 fitment volks or something similar. 17x8 +50ish front and 17x9 +63 rear. 17's offer cheaper tires so long as you stay with 255 or narrower (wider than 255 you want 18's due to 17's having very limited choices). The main benefit of going to something like the s2000 spec volks is they weigh less than the oem wheels.

I also agree that just buying stickier tires for your current wheels can be a good option.

Thanks for the perspective. I am not set on after-market wheels. I drive the car aggressively, enthusiastically, very "spirited" as I have the roads, thankfully, to do so. Much more blacktop than other cars where I take it, so my lord is it just a thrill to drive. And cornering/handling is so, so exciting in this car. So my goal is to see if and how I could improve on what it is capable of as configured currently.

That’s why I recommended a different tire. The Indy 500 is leaving something on the table.

No argument here. The car had the original tires when I acquired and I knew I wanted the larger AP2 wheels. The 500's served me well until now. After 8,500 miles, I know the car so much better now and am a much better driver of it as well.

Wanted to see if these wheel specs would work. Looking at work meister s1 3p and wanting to get close to common ccw specs. So I was thinking 18x9.5 +57 F and 18x11 +63 for rear. Wanting to use 245/35 and 285/30 tires.
thanks again

So i did a bit more research, look like my rear options for meister s1 can be 18x11 + 56 or a 11.5 +62 for more aggressive fitment or a 18x11 +68 for safer less aggressive fitment for the rear. How possible are the two more aggressive fitment on a basic roll tab relocate fender? I am still figuring out the front.
Also looking to get as much grip as possible with either a 285 tire maybe a 295. Thanks a bunch!

The 11+56 and 11.5 +62 are going to put you just outside the bounds on accommodating a 295. The 11+68 is going to be your winner there.

9.5 +57 is a great front option for a 245 or even 255.

Thank you! Waiting on a price quote at the moment and see how long the wait will be at the moment.
