Thumbs up Wheel Upgrade

Hello all I'm looking to get some new shoes for my S2k and was wondering if these would fit in a 16 or dare i say 17

I think imma go 17 x 8F and 17x 8R with a 40mm offset and run 215/45R17 F and 245/40R17 R and hope nothing rubs and it will still handle like it should

Are you lowered?? If so, you will rub 100%.

nah im not lowered, but iv been given to some advice by a local S2K guy the if i was ever to lower the car or want to lower it that the same wheels come in a 16x7 and they would be the way to go for a lowered S
