Default Work Emotions CR Kai Bronze

currently looking into switching my current setup for these. right now i have gunmetal Work Emotions 17x9 / 17x8 +45. i'm dropped about 1" on tein s-techs.

how much modification will i need to fit these wheels and do you think they will look funky with my current drop? would you recommend spacers for the front wheels?

thanks for any and all opinions/suggestions.

they're going to poke out a bit, to run aggressive wheels the car needs to be dumped or at least tucking some tire. also, a full rear fender roll and front roll and slight pull would be needed to run that set-up safely.

Nope, but you will need lots of work in the rear like AP2 said. Or you'll just have to "stretch" your rear tires and run lots of negative camber. Im running a 17x9 +38 in the rear with a 245 tire and I had to roll the inner lip on the rear quarters and im running about -2.8* camber.

how much are you dropped? do you think i'll need coilovers to run that big of a rear wheel? i'm only on s-techs right now, so about a 1" drop.

I'm running Koni Yellow's with Espelir Springs. Its an inch and a half or more (just a guess). Its not so much as to running coilovers, it's more of getting body work done. ASM over fenders with modification to the quarter panel or just a decent roll and pull. It depends on the tire size as well and your alignment specs.

well a friend of mine has a fender rolling tool and i trust him to tackle my car. i would rather run a decent size tire instead of having to stretch one over that wheel. i still need an alignment and i guess i'll need to find out how much negative camber i have.

that's how my car looks as of right now, with the springs and current work emos.

the problem is, i rub occasionally over bumps but only on my passenger side rear. it's not enough to get really concerned, but i wonder if i should get new shocks so that i won't rub with the 18"s, even with rolled fenders.

the fronts will be a perfect fit using a 225/40/18 tire.

the rears will be a different story. You'll have to tuck or cut fenders, add negative camber, and ride a 245/35 tire.... You will rub though on hard corners and bumps.

This is exactly my old setup.

The tires rubbing became too much for me so i switched to a different setup. I would stick with your 17" setup.
