is it ok to get a lower profile stock size tire?
im going to replace all my tires with advan A032R's and i was wondering what would happen if i went with a 50 series tire in front as opposed to the 55 stock thickness? as for the rear i will stick with the stock size.

On stock wheels, the proper sizing for the A032R's are 205/55/16 and 245/45/16.

i dont understand, why would i put 245/50/16 advans on the rear if the stock s-02 tires are only 225/50/16? the 225 and the 245 is refering to the width of the tire correct?

According to http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?mak...el=Potenza+S-02 the OEM 225 has a tread width of 8.5" which is a full 0.4" wider than the Porsche OEM 225.
The 225 in the front would be to balance out the understeer tendencies of a larger front swaybar.

The reason why 205/55R16 front and 245/45R16 rear is to keep the same amout of stagger front to rear as the OE tires.
The OE front tires are narrower than most 205/55R16 and the rear tires are wider than most 225/50R16.
The A032R is available in 205/55R16 at 148.00 front and 149 rear.
If I can help let me know.
Thank you
