Default factory scheduled maint

Im jumping to the 120K service, have always avoided any dealership from servicing.

Have done all the basics myself as far as fluid changes go and my filters.

But im in the market to get all the crap done in one shot.. Spark plugs, compression test, diff. fluid change, brakes and rotors, etc.

So far i got Midas to quote me for 2.7 hours at $468.
quote included
adjustment of: drive belts

inspections of:
brake hoses and lines
driveshaft
fluid/lube levels
front brakes
fuel lines and connections
lights and controls
parking brake
rear brakes
steering

suspension components
tie rod ends
underbody
valve clearance

lubrication on:
door hinges and locks

replacement of:
axle fluid
cabin air filter
coolant
trans fluid

I replaced my intake filter a weekend ago, I've got oil and oil filter so i just need to do that. Bought new tires in January. I just replaced my gasket for my exhaust and replaced the bolts on both sides of my TP.

Would there be a more thorough job done at the same price elsewhere in the northern Illinois area?

I also got a quote on (yes as horrible as it sounds) the dreaded Honda rust at the rear fenders from Continental Body Shop in Rockford, ill. they were recommended to me by Napleton Honda when i had a dent and chip damage on my left rear quarter panel when someone threw a rock at my car late at night. They did a great job, but for as small as the damaged area it still took a good $483 out of pocket.

Anyway, I'll get some pics of before work and try to have it online after work.
But as far as the quote goes, 2 and a half hours labor all said and done $438.58

I'm concerned this may be an issue that wont be resolved so easily, but this is the only surface rust apparent.

I know that i wont get a great judgment on what to do and how much it will cost elsewhere until photos are present, but would you guys know another reputable shop i could go to or price compare?

All of the maintenance can be done at a tech day (Maybe not the valve adjustment since you need a cold motor)

We will prob have another one or two tech days this year. I wouldn't pay almost 500 bucks for something like that. Granted you would have to buy the parts but the S2ki labor rate is a lot lower!

My good friend works at mcgrath acura in Morton grove. He will give you an extremely decent discount if you need all this work done soon. PM me if you're interested.

Or as blendo stated, the s2ki fees are also alot lower. Maybe you can ask urmil (luder94) to set up another tech day for ya.

Pics are up, but are nasty huge.

The passenger side seems to be in the beginning stages as well , very little visible rust... but rust none the less.
