It's amazing the positions you can get tools and yourself into when you don't want to get out more crap.
So 2 days ago my neighbors battery died because she accidently fell asleep in her car with the radio on. She knocked on my door as I was about to leave for pool, A min later and she would have missed me. She asked me to jump her car because she had somewhere to be. I gladly did it and she said thanks and we went on our way. As Im leaving my place last night, I see something sliden under my door, I pick it up and its a gift card to Starbucks with a note saying thanks for the help

miata is back up and running. i was able to swap out the starter while working 100% topside. the miata site says you gotta go from underneath with long extentions to get at the bolts but i didn't. i'm just special.

it's actually because i have a set of double flex head racheting wrenches from matco. without it, i probably would have had to go from underneath.
1. Good Microsoft convention in Las Vegas (great weather, great location, great sites)
2. Getting XBOX 360 250gb with Kinect as a free parting gift for attending and speaking for half an hour at the convention
3. Great win in Vegas at a Blackjack tourney.
All that for an $1800, 3-day conference; $400 plane ticket, and a $1200 hotel stay....that my employer and a vendor paid for.
