Our new Wilwood Track-Day Brake System, for the Honda S2000 is available with introductory pricing for a limited time! Utilizing many of the same specifications of our AP Competition Brake System, we have put together a competition inspired brake system, utilizing lightweight, high-efficiency components. We're sure you'll agree this "Light-Track" BBK a fantastic option for high performance braking, with fantastic price points.

Ultra-lightweight Forged Wilwood Calipers with stainless steel pistons and high temp seals, paired with your choice of our light-track two-piece SBG 325x32mm Premium Rotors (32 directional curved vane), or two-piece AP Racing - Full Floating - 325x32mm rotors (72 directional curved vane). This kit utilizes the same quick-change 20mm thick pads as our AP Racing Competition Kit, and the same rotor size, providing you with amazing bang for buck..

Like the SBG Designed AP Competition Brake Kit, the SBG Wilwood front big brake kit is compatible with the SBG 314x20mm Competition Rear brake upgrade. In our effort to bring high performance brake kits to the motorsports enthusiast market, we’re offering an unbeatable starter price of $1450 for this full front braking system! Combine it with our rear competition kit, for a full brake system overhaul tuned to outperform brake kits costing thousands more! Check out our race-inspired, light-track kit while the pre-order sale lasts!

This is the perfect package for customers looking for the maximum bang for their buck when it comes to brake performance. These brake calipers utilize one of the most common racing pad shapes, and accommodate a full 20mm thick pad. Not only does this provide additional thermal insulation for the calipers, but with 43-50mm (depending on the pad choice) of useable anulus, wear on the face of the rotors, as well as the pads, is greatly reduced compared to smaller profile brake kits. This results in much more robust lifespan for both the rotors and brake pads, and maximizes your dollar per braking compound/use.

So are the Sake rotors fixed mount, not floating? This is a cool option, pads for this caliper are cheaper.

Our SBG Premium Brake Rotors are 2-piece solid mount style, which are much more affordable than the full floating AP Racing Rotors. However, both types of rotors are designed with exactly the same configuration and if you choose, so you can upgrade to AP rotors at any time!

someone mind checking my math? I am showing the 35mm piston version of this kit is actually like a 9% reduction in brake tq. The 41mm version is a 25% increase though.

The pistons are in fact stainless, and ride in square seal high temp piston seals . The pistons in this caliper are quite good, but once you get into the thermlock setups and differential bores you're now basically in AP price territory in which case I'd highly recommending looking at our AP Competition Kit -> http://www.sakebombgarage.com/ap-com...-system-s2000/

We built the SBG Designed Wilwood Track Day Kit to be a REALLY solid bang for buck option, at a much more affordable price point, but if you're looking for a higher spec, we'd suggest going straight to our 325mm AP Competition kit which comes with the floating AP rotors as standard (add on option with the track day kit).

The 41mm version is meant to be run with our vented RX8 rear competition brake kit (RX8 caliper retrofit kit and vented 2 piece 314x20mm directional curved vane rotor - retains OEM parking brake) however it can be run on it's own without the rear kit with only minimal reduced rear brake bias. We recommend this kit for customers purchasing our rear kit, or considering purchasing our rear kit in the future. ->http://www.sakebombgarage.com/sbg-co...-retrofit-kit/

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/115...er-conversion/

If you are definitely going to stick with the stock rears we have a 35mm piston variant of the same kit. Your 9% bias shift ignores the pad height differences front to rear which actually ends up at 5% less torque for a total of -1.3% total front bias shift. It's within 1% of stock but realize Honda was VERY conservative with their rear bias numbers and we've shown the chassis can easily handle an extra 1% rear - which gives more total overall brake force generated at the limit (ie shorter stopping distances). It gets rather complicated as static max bias also changes with spring rate, front tire size, and compound, along with track surface, so unfortunately we have to deal in ranges instead of absolutes.

So rule of thumb, order:
35mm for stock rears
41mm for our RX8 vented rear conversion* (can be added later, running a 41mm piston with stock rears is acceptable)
